Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Kibley (“Kibley,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit kibley.com or use the Kibley studio, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using our site or the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you create an account, you provide your email address. When you use the studio, you provide the product photos you upload, the product or store URLs you import from, and any product or brand details you enter.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your subscription and credits are managed through our billing partner, Autumn. We do not store your full card number. Stripe shares your name, billing country, the last four digits of your card, and payment status with us so we can manage your subscription.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site or use the studio we automatically receive standard log data such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, referring URL, and the pages and features you interact with. We use this to run and improve the site and product.

Cookies and similar technologies.We use first-party and third-party cookies and pixels for analytics, advertising measurement, and maintaining your session. See “Cookies and tracking” below.

2. How we use your information

  • To create your account and let you sign in.
  • To generate and deliver your AI product photos.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription and credits.
  • To send account, billing, and service emails.
  • To provide in-app support when you reach out to us.
  • To measure and improve the performance of our site and product.
  • To measure the performance of our marketing on platforms like Meta.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run Kibley:

  • Clerk: authentication and account management.
  • Stripe: payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • Autumn: subscription and credit management.
  • fal.ai: generating your AI product photos from the images and prompts you submit.
  • Zyte: fetching product details and photos when you import from a store or product URL.
  • Vercel: hosting the site and storing your uploaded and generated images.
  • Neon: our database provider, storing your account and product data.
  • PostHog: product analytics, including usage events and session recordings, hosted in the EU.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): advertising and conversion measurement via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. This includes hashed identifiers such as your email so ads can be attributed correctly.
  • Gleap: in-app support chat and feedback.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect Kibley's rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a sale of the business.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use a few categories of cookies:

  • Essential: keep you signed in, provided by our authentication provider, Clerk.
  • Analytics: understand how the product is used, provided by PostHog, including session recordings.
  • Advertising: measure ad performance, including Meta's _fbp and _fbc cookies, and a first-party cookie that stores UTM parameters and Meta click IDs so we can attribute signups and purchases to the right campaign.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalized advertising through your device or ad-network preferences. We honor “Do Not Track” signals only where required by law.

5. Your content and images

The product photos you upload or import, and the images we generate for you, are used only to operate your account and provide the Service. We do not publish your content or sell it to third parties.

To generate your images, your photos and prompts are processed by fal.ai. If you import from a store or product URL, that page's publicly available content is fetched via Zyte.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Uploaded and generated images are kept while your account is active so you can access your history.

Session recordings and other analytics events are retained in PostHog according to their standard retention period.

You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing help@kibley.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California have specific rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA.

To exercise any of these rights, email help@kibley.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on your request.

8. International transfers

Kibley and our service providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures like encryption in transit, restricted access, and vetted providers to protect your information. No online service is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

10. Children

Kibley is intended for adult business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date.
